| Sumario: | In this article we cover part of the biggest corruption scandal in recent sports history, the so-called FIFAgate. Considering the size and complexity of this phenomenon, which has already been extensively studied by investigative journalism, we chose to critically analyze a miniseries produced by Netflix, entitled “FIFA Schemes”. The focus of the documentary was the bribery of Qatar's bid for the 2022 World Cup, considered the trigger for the discovery of other violations within FIFA and the structure of world football as a whole. |
