Descripción
Sumario:This paper, of a bibliographic and qualitative nature, aimed to carry out a review study of the concepts of Cognition, Emotion and Multimodality. The search for such concepts was carried out from the Scielo Brasil and CAPES platforms, having as its object of study scientific articles published between 2013 and 2023, considering the theoretical contribution of Cognitive Linguistics. As expected results, we delimited the theoretical paths that will provide the necessary framework for studies in language, in order to promote the updating of concepts and questions to be proposed for the field of linguistic research. From the selection of articles in the databases explained above, sixteen texts were selected, among which we observed both updates of the concepts, in the case of Cognition; and the need for more in-depth studies given the low recurrence of articles in the area, as observed in the concept of Multimodality, considering the delimitation of such concepts in the theoretical field of Cognitive Linguistics.
