Descripción
Sumario:This study evaluated the effectiveness of an educational intervention in managing perinatal bereavement in cases of stillbirth, focusing on training healthcare professionals. The method consisted of a descriptive study, of the experience report type, with a quantitative approach conducted in a hospital in the Triângulo Mineiro region, involving 28 professionals. The intervention, based on the Maguerez Arc method, included realistic simulations and practical activities. The results indicated a significant increase in participants' knowledge, especially in issues related to empathy and emotional support (p < 0.001). Professionals with more experience demonstrated superior performance (p = 0.045), highlighting the impact of clinical maturity. Gaps in understanding specific aspects pointed to the need for curricular revisions and enhanced training strategies. It is concluded that the well-structured educational interventions significantly improve humanized care, emphasizing the relevance of continuous education programs for challenging contexts. Future studies should explore the long-term effects of these interventions and their applicability in varied settings.
