Sumario:The notion of inclusion won the world, in the XX century and XXI. And schools arrived with the intention of including "everyone" in the educational space. The motto proclaimed by the inclusive discourse is about the acceptance of minorities, exaltation, diversity and education for difference. The present study deepens the debate about the multiple looks and different meanings that surround the binomial inclusion and exclusion. For this, a bibliographic research was conducted on the subject. Among the conclusions of the study, the most relevant ones indicate that the word exclusion is part of neoliberal discourses, associated with minorities, whether they are: people with disabilities, the mentally ill, street children, the elderly, the poor, general. The word "inclusion" is associated with the policies of assistance, aimed at creating measures against exclusion, these measures seek to cover all those who are somehow excluded by society. Regardless of the multiple glances and different meanings that the words inclusion and exclusion may have, they all circulate in our daily lives, producing truths.
