| Sumario: | The construction of use plans is complex, with the need for diagnosis and involvement of key actors. Thus, the elaboration process generates learnings that this approach has as its main objective to register. Specifically, it aims to demonstrate the case of the Plan for Use and Tourism of the Superagui National Park, located on the northern coast of the State of Paraná, Brazil. This is an exploratory and descriptive study, with participant observation and documentary research, based on the protocol Opportunities for Visitation in Protected Areas (ROVUC). The theoretical perspective comes from the management of visitation in and Community-Based Tourism (CBT), which was the model related to the characteristics of the study area. The results present the following learnings: meet the management needs; base the studies on guiding documents; operationalize research on actual and potential demand; overcome the challenges of participatory planning; elaborate SWOT analysis as a tool for diagnostic consolidation; suggest visitation for the entire area; consider possibilities for outsourcing; build standards for fauna observation with researchers on the subject; among others. We conclude that the Use Plan subsidized the Management Plan, pointing out the adequacy of the documents to ROVUC. |
