Descripción
Sumario:This article aims to propose the use of a routing system based on the problem of the traveling salesman so that it could applied in a practical way the creation of a new route proposal to use by a company in the area of distribution and sales of cold products. As methodological procedure, an applied, telematized and bibliographical research was used. The XL Router system developed in VBA with the OpenSolver supplement was used so that from a starting point and a series of stopping points the smallest possible route was defined, giving a clear indication of the expected time to travel the route. The study concluded that the use of the proposed system achieved the primary objective of reducing the number of kilometers traveled and that in an efficient way generated enough information to aid the routing process and that, by reducing the route, also allows the reduction of costs associated with process of transportation and distribution.
