Sumario:Balance dysfunctions can occur due to the aging process. This is a methodological study carried out to identify and discuss therapeutic exercise programs carried out in the aquatic environment applied to balance disorders in the elderly. Therapeutic exercise programs carried out in the aquatic environment of the resisted and non-resisted type carried out in the short to long, medium and long term have been suggested. Kinesiotherapeutic exercises are effective in maintaining and improving the balance of the elderly. However, more studies with good methodological quality need to be conducted for a better basis in clinical practice.
