| Sumario: | In contemporary society, archives can play an essential role in terms of democratizing access to information, for this reason it is worth highlighting aspects such as the dynamism of archives in the face of historical and technological changes that impact the way in which the information contained in collections is treated. This research investigated educational dissemination practices in archives, considering the technical, ethical, aesthetic and political dimensions of information literacy. The methodology used was descriptive, with a qualitative approach, through an Integrative Literature Review. The corpus was composed of ten studies on education in archives, analyzed using the categorial analysis technique of content analysis, relating their debates to the dimensions of information literacy. The results indicated that these dimensions are related to educational actions in archives, such as the development of knowledge and skills, reflection on heritage and monuments, understanding social relations in archival information and the role of archives in promoting citizenship. It was concluded that information literacy strengthens educational practices and, by covering its four dimensions, expands the social role of archives. |
