The cartoon “Steven Universe” was used as the center of discussions on the pedagogies of gender and sexuality produced in it. The study had as theoretical-methodological basis the post-critical methodologies in Education and the screen ethnography. It was possible to make considerations about the formulation of love at first sight and eternal love, even when dealing with relationships that are outside the heterosexual norm.Este artículo se basa en los Estudios de Género y los Estudios Culturales en la perspectiva foucaultiana, busca traer discusiones sobre este enfoque en los dibujos animados. El dibujo animado “Steven Universe” fue utilizado como centro de discusión sobre las pedagogías de género y sexualidad que en él se producen. El estudio tuvo como base teórico-metodológica las metodologías poscríticas en Educación y la etnografía de pantalla. Fue posible hacer consideraciones sobre la formulación del amor a primera vista y el amor eterno, incluso cuando se trata de relaciones que están fuera de la norma heterosexual.Este artigo tem como base teórica os Estudos de Gênero e os Estudos Culturais, na perspectiva pós-estruturalista, buscando problematizar uma série animada como artefato cultural. O desenho Steven Universo foi utilizado como centro das discussões sobre as pedagogias de gênero e das sexualidades nele produzidas. Além disso, o estudo teve como base teórico-metodológica as metodologias pós-críticas em Educação e a etnografia de tela.
