| Sumario: | Over the recent years, in Brazil and Argentina, issues surrounding sexual and reproductive rights have been extensively debated, particularly concerning the (de)criminalization of abortion, with an emerging reactionary anti-abortion stance gaining political traction. Through the lens of Materialist Discourse Analysis, we present here an analytical effort to understand how neoliberal and conservative ideologies operate in both countries regarding the dissemination of perspectives on the topic, particularly within the political and legal spheres. |
