Description
Summary:Graphic humor has already played a prominent role in mass culture. From the 1980s until today, his serial artistic productions, whether in cartoons published daily in the press or in specialized magazines, have an extraordinary importance, showing that art is not only the manifestation of a time, but its own creation, as we will see in the case of the so-called crisis of meaning. Even with a growing decrease in subscriptions to physical newspapers and magazines, with the adaptation of information vehicles to digital platforms in the form of websites or blogs, and with a greater dissemination of the so-called “memes” on the internet, the production of printed graphic humor and in the press it prevails and presents itself as a rich material for research in History, with an innovative way of “capturing” and acting on and in reality.
