Descrição
Resumo:Morality, according to the Theory of Moral Judgment (TJM) represents the behavior and the ways in which moral attitudes can determine social behavior. According to this theory, the "Gamesmanship" "Cheating" and "Commitment" are the attitudinal dimensions that evidence conflict in behaviors face to moral dilemmas. This research aims to explore and describe the average ratios obtained from the evaluation of four dimensions of attitudes: Commitment, Convention, Cheating and Gamensmanship. For this purpose, a sample of 46 youth athletes of football, male and aged 13-16 years answered the Attitudes Inventory for Moral Decision Making in Youth Sports (IATDMEJ-23). It was found that the dimensions "Gamesmanship" "Cheating" and "Commitment" (statistically indissolubles) are the dimensions that appear in first, followed by the dimension Convention in second. New studies are suggested in other sports controlling different variables.
