| Sumario: | Digital repositories arise through information and communication technologies and have been used by educational and research institutions in order to gather, organize and disseminate their scientific productions. For information professionals, the challenge is constant: adapting to new ways of working, such as integrating into the context of digital repositories and contributing to this new scenario that involves scientific communication, to meet the principles of open access to information. information through the management and availability of an institution's scientific and academic production. This report presents actions that can be performed by librarian professionals, repository managers and involved with institutional repositories, in order to promote the sustainability of the system. Discusses actions that aim to expand access to scientific information through institutional repositories in Dspace, with practical features for executing and managing repositories, in order to meet the purpose of open access, and thus contribute to the democratization of access to information. |
