| Sumario: | The objective is to report the experience of integration between two information systems at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, the Integrated System for the Management of Academic Activities and the Institutional Repository, with an emphasis on self-archiving of theses and dissertations. For this, the steps related to the self-archiving of these productions by the students and the actions related to these steps performed by the librarians. Subsequently, it addresses the integration process in importing records from the first to the second system, which consists of reusing metadata and, consequently, integration between them. It is concluded that the developed importer can be used by other institutions that use both information systems |
