| Sumario: | The aim of this research was to analyze the representation of women, especially black women, from a decolonial perspective in the Ápis História and Liga Mundo História textbook collections approved by the National Textbook Program (PNLD 2019-2022). We investigated the activities, images and sections present in the five volumes of these two history textbook collections for elementary school. It should be noted that the main theorists used were Beauvoir (1980), Matos (2010), Quijano (2000) and Choppin (2004). We also used documents that guide basic education in Brazil, such as the National Common Core Curriculum (BNCC, 2018). Finally, this research investigates paradigms that subject women to Eurocentric parameters through history textbooks, resulting in their under-representation. |
