Description
Summary:This research aims to reflect on the use of literature, as a pedagogical resource, in teaching the Spanish language. An experience report is presented on the application of an evaluation project, which included the reciting of poetry and the analysis of a short story by Uruguayan writer Mario Benedetti in an interscholastic language center – CIL in the Federal District. Initially, I discuss the potential of literary text as a pedagogical tool. In the second part, I describe the experience report, covering topics such as motivation, preparation, etc. Finally, I reflect on the perspectives of using literature in Spanish language classes after the experience. Among its conclusions, it is considered that the literary texts favor the development of the student's linguistic and humanistic skills.
