| Sumario: | The French philosopher Françoise Choay has been a reference for urbanism and cultural heritage studies. In order to understand the words appropriated by Choay and their different meanings, the books L'Urbanisme (1965) and The Rule and the Model (1980) were analyzed. The word model and its different interpretations were the critical focus of the two texts. Therefore, the tension between understanding and interpretation in Françoise Choay was pursued, new frameworks of her work, unveiling her statements and associated signs. |
