Sumario:This article aims to present some reflections on the implementation of the law 10.639/2003- amended by Law 11.645/2008, which make mandatory the teaching of African and Indigenous Culture and History in the public and private Elementary and High Schools, as a construction possibility of new experiences and a teachers training that provides knowledge about different cultures, peoples and histories. Ando also contributing to children care, to promote diversity and in their social relations with other ethnic groups. I comprehend that the training of education professionals, theoretically grounded on the foundations understanding of law and actions aimed that its implementation enables the childhood in educational institutions is treated as a historical, social, cultural and political constructions.
