Sumario:The aim of the dissertation is to analyze the success of the movie Parasite. And for that explanation, check out director Bong Joon-ho's other works. This was the first non-English-speaking film to win four Oscars, including the coveted statuettes for best screenplay, best director and best picture. To better understand the importance of this repercussion and the prominence that Parasite achieved, let's review the relationship between the film and the history of South Korean culture, the beginning of the history of its cinema and the commercial impulse it received in recent years. We will also analyze the director's trajectory and understand his work using different cinematographic genres at the same time. The basis is in the studies and studies of: Group Creation Processes Dialogues by Cecília Almeida Salles, Cinematographic Manuals by Luís Nogueira and The Steve Kaplan Tools of Comedy
