Sumario:The blog is a space for linguistic and social digital communication, which has been increasingly popular among young people. In addition to hosting texts of different genres, the blogger builds a relationship with the reader through the publication of posts. Taking into account the increasingly unrestricted access of young people to the internet and their affinity with the blog genre, the present work aims to present the results of the extension project entitled “Literary blog: the use of digital technology as an instrument of interaction between IFC students and the external community”, developed in 2019, at the Brusque campus. The project expanded the space for interaction between students in the Chemistry and Computer Science courses integrated to High School and the community, as well as stimulating reading and the written production in Portuguese.
