| Sumario: | We seek to discuss the potential of dialogue, as a transforming force, to dynamize intersubjective relationships, according to the hermeneutic philosophy of Hans-Georg Gadamer. In this sense, we relate this communicative practice to the structuring model of the game, according to the Gadamerian approach. We anchor the analysis, mainly, in the following writings of this philosopher: Truth and Method I (2015); Truth and Method II (2011); Hermeneutics in Retrospect (2007); Praise of Theory (2001). We question the effectiveness of the force of dialogue, in the face of the inability to develop this communicational practice, in our days. We argue that the dialogue follows the course of the language game and, in this sense, the subjects, participants of this movement, must intend to reach mutual understanding. Based on the analyses, the strength that underlies the dialogue can make it possible to resize the I-you-world relationship, a contributory perspective for reflecting on viable ways to overcome conflicts, as well as strengthening social bonds. |
