| Sumario: | This paper aims to present the concept and characteristics of the idea of play, according to the philosophical hermeneutics of Gadamer. The play, besides being a subjective experience of the player, can also be understood as a phenomenon external to the players and that embraces them. Therein lies its medial character, that is, the play is an expression of everything that can be a considered as a medium. In order to illustrate this understanding of the concept of play, it will be articulated with art's experience of truth, the process of understanding, and the dialogue, in the three main sections of Truth and Method I. In this way, it will be possible to highlight the structural importance of this concept in the architecture of his work. |
