Descripción
Sumario:The article begins with an approach to theatrical language as an object of study, in the item called “Theatre as a historical document”. It is argued that it is possible to understand that theatrical sources can be used as documents in the historian's workshop, because they contribute to the understanding of social reality at a given historical moment. Then, in the topic entitled “The Anchietan theatrical language as a catechetical-pedagogical dimension”, Anchieta's theater is understood from the perspective that it is inserted in the catechetical-pedagogical indoctrinating project and is in line with the implementation of a civilizing bias- Portuguese colonizer carried out in Colonial Brazil in the 16th century.
