Descripción
Sumario:Historicity is an important notion to discourse analysis in Brazil.  In this article, I’m interested in how Eni Orlandi, as author and discourse analyst, employs this notion on the introduction of Terra à vista. I focus on the relationship between the notions of historicity and meaning.  My purpose is to understand how the notion of historicity is presented and signified in that textuality. For this purpose, my reading is based on two theoretical and analytical devices: discourse analysis and semantics of event. Between these two devices, the analysis gestures lead to the understanding that the notion of historicity is often articulated with the notion of text: it is the “text historicity”. Despite this articulation, “historicity” appears in textuality without a formulation that concepts it. The meaning of “historicity” functions under the support of a network of other notions, such as discourse, discursivity, history and movement.
