Sumario:This article presents the results of research carried out in the Postgraduate Program in Journalism (PPJ) at UFPB, with the objective of describing the process of creating the 1st Paraíba Music Festival, held in 2018, demonstrating the role of Radio Tabajara in the process of valuing local culture in the expanded radio journalism scenario. This is qualitative research, carried out through case studies, documentary research and semi-structured interviews with cultural agents.
