Sumario:The media is a privileged space for us to understand how to construct any otherness. In this study, we address the ways in which the image of the Bolivian immigrant can be constructed from different enunciative positions. Closer or more distant, the discourse about the immigrant in digital media is current. However, there is also space for the emergence of the immigrant’s discourse and, thus, for other effects of meaning to appear, not only the ones that are supposed to be kept under the explicit control of the enunciator, according to his choices. To show these enunciative positions, we use the French Semiotics, elaborated by Algirdas Julien Greimas and his collaborators. We hope to contribute to the discussions about the representations, but also about the representativity that minority social groups must build together in order not to be stuck under the construction of their images made an controlled by the dominant group.
