| Resumo: | This research analyzes some of the movies of the British filmmaker Christopher Nolans (1970-) work, thinking about his narrative strategies, built in order to incite the involvement of the viewer with the characters innermost feelings. For that, the filmmaker creates complex narrative structures that, in many examples, escape the usual with fragmented and non-chronological editing, doing the part of potentialize the public self-identification with the story and the main characters tragedies. Its evident that this feature presents as a constant in the directors filmography. As a profile, its been decided to investigate more deeply two of the works in which these features appear in a more outstanding way: Memento (USA, 2000) and Inception (USA/United Kingdom, 2010). |
