| Resumo: | http://dx.doi.org/10.5007/1518-2924.2017v22n49p142Reflecting about current trends of governmental administrative modernization policies, it is presented and discusses the recent results of a libraries prospective report, held in Portugal, under the General Directorate of the Qualification of Public Workers (INA). This strategic guidance document was developed by a group of information management experts, using the methodology of future studies and analysis of stakeholders, with the objective to contribute to the construction of a national information policy that integrates the role and strategy of libraries of the Central State Administration, promoting the recognition of information management practices necessary in public administration and debating its value and impact for the various stakeholders. |
