| Sumario: | This article investigates the process of decolonization of History Teaching in Brazil, with a specific focus on the implementation of laws 10.639/03 and 11.645/08 and their implications. Examines the transformative impact of these laws on the historical narrative, with an emphasis on reshaping the educational curriculum by promoting a more inclusive and diverse perspective. In doing so, these laws not only challenge but also deconstruct traditional narratives, bringing to light a more comprehensive understanding of history, essential for building a more just society. Through a critical analysis, this study highlights the fundamental role that these laws play in redefining Brazilian historical education, from inclusive perspectives in History Teaching, based on decolonial thinking. |
