Sumario:The feminization in old age has received much attention lately because of its high rate of occurrence. This research investigates the young girl who became the old woman of today and who plays such an important role in society. We interviewed two elderly women, and through their memories we have come up with unique profiles: one was influenced by the ideals from the "golden years" - when the security of a marriage was valued; the other, was a political revolutionary exposed to the pressures of dictatorship and who has fought for her rights and for the democratic freedom of the country.
