| Sumario: | In the mediatic Brazilian scenario, the «Grupo Globo» is leader with companies of press and digital newspapers; radio; television; book publishers; recorders etc. But «Grupo Globo» did not close its action just in that county. Its internationalization process began in 1999 officially with the «TV Globo Internacional» inauguration. This research debates and describes the historical internationalization process of the «Rede Globo» company, namely in Portugal. Our focus is to understand how this process happened, mapping the company activity in its media (specifically TV schedule, broadcasting and distribution). We also interview managers, doing an exploratory research, with case study. This research has empirical period between the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017. As an assumption of our investigation, we think that «Grupo Globo» internationalization process configures as an enterprising goal. It is a tentative to reach the same status reached in Brazil. |
