| Sumario: | This article sought to organize Abdias do Nascimento's passage through Pan-Africanist congresses between 1973 and 1982, using the biographical method in order to reach the author's contributions to the social sciences for traditional themes of Brazilian social thought. It is concluded that its main contributions are a new understanding of racism, the racial democracy and the historically articulation of black social movements. |
