| Sumario: | This work is based on the study of the relationship between displacement, territory and identity in the creation process of Portuguese visual artist Graça Morais. It is intended to understand relevant aspects of the artistic process, from the artist's displacement to the realization of three artistic residencies during her trajectory. The analysis is based on the concept of formation (bildung) in Gadamer (1997) and the anthropological approach to image by Belting (2014). It also proposes a contextualization of what an artistic residency is, its relationship with formation and the creative process in situ. |
