Therefore, it is concluded that sexual diversity can be considered one of the mainstays for a welcoming education.Este artigo propõe um diálogo entre o currículo e a formação docente no que diz respeito à diversidade sexual e de gênero. Para tanto, parte-se de uma revisão bibliográfica integrativa da literatura disponível e aponta-se, a partir dela, alguns caminhos já percorridos historicamente, bem como algumas possibilidades para a construção de uma educação mais inclusiva, respeitosa e diversa.
