Descripción
Sumario:This article reports a systematic literature review done to investigate sexuality in the practice of Vocational Guidance. The descriptors used were “orientation”, “professional”, “sexual”, “sexuality” and “identity”, in Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and Portal of Electronic Psychology Journals (PePSIC) bases. Ten articles were analyzed and allocated in the following categories: 1) Gender: representations of women and men in the choice / experience of professions; 2) Prejudice towards homosexual professionals; 3) Health professionals as responsible for the area of sexuality. There are few studies with an evident intersection between sexuality and OP, although the relations found can estimulate professional advisors that aim to enrich their practices. Due to the limitations found, this work also suggests intervention options to include the dimension of sexuality in the vocational guidance practice.
