Sumario:The article intends to show that there is a necessary relation between the marxian conception of “estrangement” (Entfremdung) and Marx’s reflections on the State, as both refer to an antagonism between the individual and the human species. It intends to demonstrate that such a relation is not only in his 1840’s texts, where the problem of the estranged man is explicitly put, but also in his mature work, as it is also present in his studies on the Paris Commune, in which the latter is described as a reabsorption, by the people, of their social life, following his previous conception of the human emancipation.
