Sumario:The aim of this paper is to expose the critique of Henri-Bergson about the dualism in the philosophical tradition. Our intention is to demonstrate that Ber gson’s thought is fundamentally different from the dualism and from the ontological perspective of the philosophical tradition - even though he had made use throughout his work of dualisms that appear in the form of method. Bergson opposes himself mostly against the privilege of the transcendental being as a static and unmoving form conferred by Platonism, and endorsed his criticism to the tradition in a constant debate with the famous paradox of the race between Achilles and the turtle of the Greek philosopher Zeno of Elea. By disclosing the problems of Platonism and the Elea school, Bergson intends to reveal an ontology of the becoming and movement.
