Sumario:The urban text is essential for the understanding of those communication processes involving production and consumption of popular music. From this perspective, the notion of the music scene tries to describe economic and social logics which underlie the dynamics of certain musical expressions in contemporary cities. This article intends, then, through the analysis of scenes configuration, to amplify the understanding of the interrelationship between music and social practices in urban spaces, recognizing that the materialization of music in cities involves aesthetic experiences and “mediatizations” that, along with social and economic networks, allow a broader view of the idea of musical scenes.
