| Sumario: | This research seeks to explore the resilience of the Brazilian regional economy to analyze how the 2015-16 crisis impacted its economic base. In this way, we can identify which productive structures are able to protect the region from a crisis. For that, the Shift-Share tool was used to isolate the national, structural and locational effects. The results indicate that regions that are more dependent on international trade managed to have more dynamism in their sectors of activity and, thus, performed better in relation to the national economy. |
