| Sumario: | The quest for nature as a cenary for tourism and leisure practices had been demonstrated be na actual tendency. In 2003, the Adventure Tourism (AT) received special atention from Tourism Ministery with the start of Safe Adventure Program (SAP) that choose Serra Gaúcha Adventure Pole, at the State of Rio Grande do Sul, as one of the prioritary destinations of the Program. The present article aims to investigate if the results announced by SAP had been perceived by the Organizational Managers and by the Environmental Managers of the eight companies of AT, certified by SAP, researching if had been getting better in performance of those companies and if this improvement reflects in growing of visitors flow. To accomplish this research it was used a semi open questionnary with organizational managers, categorizing it as quantitative, with manual treatment of data. As a result it can be indicate that had been significative improvements in the organizational management and in the environmental management. As well it had been perceived an improvement on the flow of visitors after the SAP, but that advance is not realized by the managers as directly connected to SAP implementation. |
