| Sumario: | The aim of this paper is to provide a preliminary analysis of the psychosocial development of elderly people by means of the course of Gastronomy offered at the campus of UNESP – São Paulo State University, in the city of Rosana, São Paulo State, where the project UNATI – University Open to the Elderly People is carried out. Based on the analysis of data obtained by applying a questionnaire, we will discuss how the gastronomy course affects social and psychological aspects of the elderly life and contributes to a healthier nutrition by means of nutritional education. |
