Descripción
Sumario:This article presents the main contributions to the Social Sciences of some of the leading authors of French pragmatism. However, given the variety of authors, themes, and concepts that orbit pragmatist sociology, we chose to focus on the sociology of criticism by Luc Boltanski and Laurent Thévenot, Daniel Cefaï's studies, and, to a lesser extent, Louis Queré’s, about problematic situations, public problems and the public arena. Thus, this brief and interested incursion into the debate undertaken by pragmatist authors intends to outline some key elements of the debate, highlighting the main arguments and concepts of this important academic movement.
