| Summary: | The present article brings to the political-academic debate the advances of the right in the country, the configurations of Bolsonarism, the socio-sanitary crisis caused by the Covid 19 pandemic and the respective impacts on the Brazilian SocialProtection System. It contextualizes the dynamics of the relationship between social protection and unprotection and its aggravations arising from the dismantling of state public systems and the policy of death in the context of the pandemic, interms of the management of social protection within the scope of the National Social Assistance Policy. It presents and discusses empirical data on indicators related to the access and offer of services, programs and social assistance benefits, with a view to contributing to the guidelines and management of public social protection policies aimed at fighting Covid-19. It analyzes the issue of (centrality) of social assistance policy in the context of the covid-19 pandemic. |
