| Sumario: | Its approaches the indexing policy teaching, understood as a fundamental element for the establishment of guidelines aimed at the development of indexing, in support of the subject representation, as well as a core content present in Librarianship graduations, within the scope of the discipline Indexing and Abstracts. It aims to highlight the formative path in indexing policy in undergraduate Librarianship at the Universidade Federal de Goiás, considering the theoretical and practical link adopted in this achievement. It is a descriptive research of a qualitative nature, in the form of a case study with narrative character of teaching experience report. Its locus of investigation is the Graduate Course in Library Science at the Universidade Federal de Goiás. It appears that the educational reality of the Universidade Federal de Goiás, in the area of indexing, explores the content of indexing policy from a descriptive axis of characterization of the information unit, its collection and target audience. Also explores from an applied axis, contemplating level of exhaustiveness, level of specificity, information retrieval, form of attribution of terms, indexing language, form of indexing, level of collaboration and level of combination of terms. It is concluded that, in the case under study, the formative evidence on the subject stems from its theorization and its practical constitution. |
