Description
Summary:This article argues that practitioners of moderate aerobic exercise reduces the percentage of fat with the help of exercise and a balanced diet consisting of carbohydrates with good quality. Blood tests were performed before and after the training period, and anthropometric assessments Plicometro and tests of physical effort. According to the methodology of aerobic exercise was performed three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) for a duration of 60 minutes per session, with 30 minutes of treadmill walking and 30 minutes of exercise on the elliptical during the period 2 months (8 weeks). After the results we found that moderate aerobic exercise combined with diet produces decrease in the percentage of fat, positive changes in blood tests (HDL, LDL, VLDL and total), improvement in fasting glucose, decrease in sum of skinfolds (axillary and abdominal), reduced body mass and decrease in circumference (bust, waist and abdomen). Thus, as health professionals we should encourage our students to a healthy lifestyle with exercise training and diet controlled, preventing countless injuries to their health, such as hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes and obesity.
