This article presents a reflection on the process of implementing public policies in the area of education in the municipalities of Rio Pardo, Venâncio Aires and Santa Cruz do Sul, located in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul/Brazil. The objective of the article was to analyze how street-level bureaucrats influence the area of education in inclusive and/or exclusionary processes that affect the (re)production or reduction of inequalities in the process of implementing public policies. The article Bureaucracy and Implementation of Public Policies: Challenges and Potentials for Reducing Inequalities, authored by Gabriela Lotta (2021), was the basis for both moments, both theoretical and field research. In the field research, three in-depth semi-structured interviews were carried out with education professionals. After analyzing the results, it is considered that the successful implementation of public policy must consider the social impact assessments that comprehensively analyze how policy affects inequalities. The absence of this type of assessment can limit the understanding of the results and prevent necessary adjustments. |

El objetivo del artículo fue analizar cómo los burócratas de calle influyen en el área de la educación en procesos inclusivos y/o excluyentes que inciden en la (re)producción o reducción de desigualdades en el proceso de implementación de políticas públicas. El artículo Burocracia e implementación de políticas públicas: desafíos y potencialidades para reducir las desigualdades, de Gabriela Lotta (2021), fue la base para ambos momentos, tanto teóricos como de investigación de campo. En la investigación de campo, se realizaron tres entrevistas semiestructuradas en profundidad a profesionales de la educación. Luego del análisis de los resultados, se considera que la implementación exitosa de una política pública debe considerar las evaluaciones de impacto social que. Analizar exhaustivamente cómo las políticas afectan las desigualdades. La ausencia de este tipo de evaluación puede limitar la comprensión de los resultados e impedir los ajustes necesarios.Este artigo apresenta uma reflexão sobre o processo de implementação de políticas públicas na área da educação nos municípios de Rio Pardo, Venâncio Aires e Santa Cruz do Sul, localizados no interior do Rio Grande do Sul/Brasil. O objetivo do artigo foi analisar como os burocratas de nível de rua influenciam na área da educação em processos includentes e/ou excludentes que afetem a (re)produção ou redução de desigualdades no processo de implementação de políticas públicas. O artigo Burocracia e Implementação de Políticas Públicas: Desafios e Potencialidades para Redução de Desigualdades, de autoria de Gabriela Lotta (2021), foi a base para os dois momentos, tanto o teórico como a pesquisa de campo. Na pesquisa de campo foram realizadas três entrevistas semiestruturadas aprofundadas com profissionais da área da educação. Após a análise dos resultados, considera-se que a implementação bem-sucedida das políticas públicas deve considerar as avaliações de impacto social que analisem de maneira abrangente como a política afeta as desigualdades.
