Descripción
Sumario:The purpose of this paper is to describe an experience based on the action research method from initiation musical workshops that are being developed in two shelters for children and adolescents in the interior of Minas Gerais. In this work music is seen as an instrument that can contribute to the positive development of children and adolescents who live in shelters. The workshops were organized and offered based on the childrens’ demand as well as action strategies of music education methodologies were developed. As results we can point out some impressions based on reports made by the project participants in the workshop instructors regarding interventions with remarkable results. It is considered that this context and the actions taken may encourage musical and cultural experiences for the participants and promote possibilities for reframing their stories.
