| Sumario: | This paper presents the design of University Service: Ludic Workshops: Spaces of Encounter and Creation, which develops interdisciplinary activities involving students and professionals from occupational therapy courses, such as psychology, physiotherapy and social work. The project involves two places in Santos – SP, a shelter and a core educational partner in which we work health and play with children at risk and vulnerability. This article turns to the actions developed during a year of the project inside the shelter and brings about theoretical and guiding justifications to the project, as well as areas of action in shelters. The work described in the article was conducted from August 2011 to June 2012 and focused its work with children from two to six years old. The proposed intervention by using workshops led to changes in the institutional framework concerning playing, children and changes in shared play. |
