Descripción
Sumario:The study explores the role of post-credits scenes as a narrative and advertising strategy in contemporary cinema, highlighting their relevance in extending films and announcing new franchises. Using concepts such as paratextuality and intertextuality, based on theorists such as Gray, Abbott, Genette, and Fiorin, the objectives include typologically classifying these scenes and analyzing their function in the continuity of narrative universes. The research concludes that post-credits scenes go beyond being mere bonuses, becoming essential for the construction of cinematic universes, with distinct categories that enrich the viewer’s experience.
