| Sumario: | The theme of this article is the consequences of the consumption of pornography for the sexuality of heterosexual women. The following problem was investigated: “What are the consequences that the consumption of pornography has on the sexuality of heterosexual women?”. The following hypothesis was considered: “That pornography has multiple and comprehensive effects on sexuality in its various components. The general objective is "to understand how the consumption of pornography influences heterosexual female sexuality". The specific objectives are: “to define pornography in the western heteronormative context”; “examining the occurrence and form of pornography consumption by women”; “identify the consequences of this consumption on the consumer's sexuality”. This work is important for a psychology professional because it refers to human sexuality and its psychic and social relationships. For science it is relevant because it is a complex phenomenon and inserted in social practices; aggregates society when relationships are understood, reflected and organized for the well-being of society in relation to female sexuality. This is a qualitative theoretical research lasting six months. |
